Vultures Removed from DSPs, Coming Home Album Review, + Fugees The Score
In Episode 8 of Season 2, the Shifting the Culture podcast, we kick off the show by recapping Usher's Super Bowl Half Time performance and sharing our thoughts on his new album Coming Home. Next, we discuss Kanye West and Ty Dolla$ign's Vultures album being removed from streaming services. We also touch on Killer Mike's response to Kai Cenat for not knowing who he was after winning Rap Album of the Year at this year's Grammys.

In our flashback section of the show, we recall the impact of The Fugees The Score album which went on to sell over 22 million albums worldwide. We also reminisce about 2 Pac's classic Death Row debut, All Eyez on Me, which was the first double CD by a hip-hop artist. Next, we remember Big L and ponder what his legacy would be if the Harlem MC had never been tragically killed before reaching his full potential. Finally, we close out the show by remembering Drake's So Far Gone Mixtape which helped put Drake on the map.
