20: Growing the game in Norway
On the show this week, I'm joined by Martin Beddis, Head Coach of Norway Wheelchair Rugby League. He has the task of establishing a wheelchair side from scratch, and garnering interest in the sport in Scandinavia. It's a mammoth task but one that he is relishing. Covid-19 has made his job that bit tougher, but the postponement of RLWC2021 til 2022 gives him more time to prepare for the tournament. He also speaks about getting into wheelchair sports after being inspired watching the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. Also discussed on the show: the re-structure (or lack of) of Super League and all the action from the weekend.
