Apart from the episodes with my wife, this week’s episode ranks as one of my favourite so far. The revelatory really bloomed in our midst as my beloved friend Jahleel Shelling and I discussed the vivid textures of God’s revelation throughout history. What emerged from our conversation was a profound, holistic perspective of who the Father is to us and how we can relate to Him practically. What was specifically illuminating, was the consideration of how much we are either hindered or unhindered by the lens we are looking through as we learn to behold Him. Simple affection is often withheld because of the influence of these world views that attempt to pervade our subconscious mind. We must be renewed in the Spirit of the mind by allowing the Holy Spirit to shine forth into our inner most being to reveal the glory of God in the face of Christ.
