I share how Thanksgiving and Christmas looked in an Italian mob household in New York, from endless food, soldiers dropping by, and seven fishes on Christmas Eve, to wild New Year’s Eve nights at places like the Copacabana. Then I take you inside the eight Christmases I missed with my family while I was in prison, including one Christmas Eve where a simple Christian song reminded me how blessed I still was to be alive and have a future.
Finally, I talk about what our holidays look like now: my Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve cooking, the big tree, the traditions my wife and I keep with our kids, and why, after everything, the holidays are all about faith, redemption, and family.
