In this podcast, we explore the intersection of faith and Indigenous identity. For too long, we've felt torn between loving Jesus and honoring our culture, but we’re learning how to bring both together in a way that’s respectful and true. As the first generation to not experience residential schools, we want to create a space where rez folks—both in the city and on the reserves—know they are not alone. God didn’t want to kill the Indian in the child. Join us as we talk about God's Kingdom culture, share stories & invite people from all walks of life to speak on this with us.

Sitting with no identity

In this first episode, we sit in a space of vulnerability, exploring the raw experience of being Indigenous in a world shaped by colonialism and the church. We delve into the deep grief, pain, and loss felt by our First Nations peoples, whose identities were stripped away through forced conformity and cultural suppression. With open and messy hearts, we confront the wounds left by centuries of ignorance and neglect from those who didn’t understand our ways, alongside the lasting impacts of residential schools and the oppression of our spiritual walks. This conversation is unfiltered, a heartfelt sharing of our journeys to reclaim what was lost, to reconnect with who we truly are, and to heal as a community. Join us as we explore our roots, our ongoing testimonies, and the strength we draw from our ancestors and the Holy Spirit, while sitting in the discomfort of our shared history.
