Congratulations to the OKC Thunder on winning the NBA Championship. With Tyrese Haliburton going down in game 7, I decided to take a deeper look at all of the Achilles Tendon ruptures. Hali, Tatum and Lillard all went down in the 2025 playoffs and 7 players in the 2024-25 season. I will discuss why its happening and some potential ideas to reduce the reoccurrence of this injury.
