Being MENA at South

In this episode, we are interviewing teachers and students of the MENA/SWANA community, on their experience of being MENA. From learning to conflicts in the MENA/SWANA Regions to Islamaphobia to celebrating and learning about parts of their culture, being part of the MENA/SWANA community is a different experience for everyone single person. This is what inspired us to do this episode and to help educate our school community on the various stories that make up the MENA/SWANA community, and to get the thoughts f the student and teacher body about how we can include the stories of the MENA community in our school curriculum and make sure that the voices of people who identify as being MENA or SWANA are being heard in our school.
