Welcome back and thanks for listening to our podcast, "So...Here's the thing". As we continue to discuss our shared and divergent experiences with being Black in America. Sometimes light, sometimes heavy, we discuss issues like gentrification, Black illiteracy, how we self-identify within our own communities and growing Black and educated and what the word "education" means to many Black Americans. We also discuss some reasons (or what some might call "excuses") why we struggle within our community. This important discussion continues to explore how we move, touch and inspire each other, how we "do the work" and what the next steps can be for the next generation of Black young men and women.
