Episode 27: Jingle Bell "Rock" - NOTE: This is NOT a Christmas Episode. Really, it isn't. Even though it will seem like it 10 minutes in, we promise it most certainly is not. Courage, listeners.
Anyway, with Jacob off foraging for sustenance and fighting for his country (Texas) against the abominable snow man in the Icelandic hinterlands, hosting duties fell to Josh and Joel this week - and these two had bells jingling in their heads. Perhaps already driven mad by the incessant, ubiquitous playing of "All I Want for Christmas is You," which began back in late August, or possibly already nearing hibernation due to having started eggnog intake back around Thanksgiving, your fearless leaders for the week took off aimlessly on their own quest. Their mission? Locating the elusive sleigh bell in its unnatural habitat: Non-Christmas songs. They were not prepared for what they found: a daring and eclectic mix of songs, decades and genres that jingle all the way. Well, some of them only jingle at the end of the song. You get the idea. "It's a bold move, Cotton, Let's see if they can pull it off." Anyway, hurry back Jacob, we are running low on supplies (and ideas). It's "Somebody Else's Favorite Jingle Bell 'Rock' Songs!"
