On Somewhere on the Screen is a film and television podcast hosted by three friends and artsy people -- Nicholas Westemeyer, Joseph Reese, and Christopher Moss. Each cycle, we'll choose an upcoming film or TV show to cover and choose three pieces to examine leading up to which we think will be vital to understanding the film. Then, we'll finish the cycle by talking about the big release in resplendent glory and see just how far off we were with our predictions of what would be important and more importantly, what we thought of the thing!
Above all else, we're here to have fun and enjoy talking about things we love with people we love. Come and join us as we keep our mind in the clouds and our eyes Somewhere on the Screen!

We're starting our next cycle with a classic! It's time for Sidney Lumet's classic take on Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express.
Chris took a wild guess in trying to find an early version of a detective mystery (definitely not early) which he hoped might inform about Rian Johnson's thoughts on the upcoming Knives Out film (nailed it here). Nick said he'd seen this movie a million times only to later admit he'd watched the 2017 version and never heard of Sidney Lumet. Will they argue? Only one way to find out!
