On Somewhere on the Screen is a film and television podcast hosted by three friends and artsy people -- Nicholas Westemeyer, Joseph Reese, and Christopher Moss. Each cycle, we'll choose an upcoming film or TV show to cover and choose three pieces to examine leading up to which we think will be vital to understanding the film. Then, we'll finish the cycle by talking about the big release in resplendent glory and see just how far off we were with our predictions of what would be important and more importantly, what we thought of the thing!
Above all else, we're here to have fun and enjoy talking about things we love with people we love. Come and join us as we keep our mind in the clouds and our eyes Somewhere on the Screen!

We're building up to discussing Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and this week Nick's suggested we take a look at Rian Johnson's first film, I think it's the first film(?), Brick. How can I describe Brick? Have you ever thought about being a teenager...but then been like, "Yo...what if everything was black and white and I was a detective and I had to solve a murder and the Vice Principle was the cops?" Well, other than the black and white thing...that's this film!
Will it play a role in how we view the new Knives Out film? Only one way to find out!
