Somewhere on the Screen
Christopher Moss, Nicholas Westemeyer, & Joseph Reese
20 episodes

On Somewhere on the Screen is a film and television podcast hosted by three friends and artsy people -- Nicholas Westemeyer, Joseph Reese, and Christopher Moss. Each cycle, we'll choose an upcoming film or TV show to cover and choose three pieces to examine leading up to which we think will be vital to understanding the film. Then, we'll finish the cycle by talking about the big release in resplendent glory and see just how far off we were with our predictions of what would be important and more importantly, what we thought of the thing!

Above all else, we're here to have fun and enjoy talking about things we love with people we love. Come and join us as we keep our mind in the clouds and our eyes Somewhere on the Screen!

Episode 3 - Superman (1978)

As we continue to build up to the big release for James Gunn's Superman (2025) in July, we're talking about Superman (1978) in this episode!

It's the gold standard of what a Superman film has been held against for decades. Between Christopher Reeves's iconic performance, John Williams's memorable score, and Margot Kidder's constant screaming this is the film James Gunn is trying to live up to...but how does the (nearly) 50 year old film hold up? The guys take a look at the film and see how they'd like to see James Gunn evolve the form.
