Ep. 40: How Many Lashes Kirk Franklin & Yolanda Adams

https://anchor.fm/sparerare/message - If you have questions, want to say hello, or want to be a guest or share a song let me know!!

Host: RareRuby - https://www.instagram.com/sparerarepodcast/ <> https://www.instagram.com/rareruby86/

This episode is a bit deep as it reflects on Palm Sunday and the meaning of what Christ gave for us all - not for some - for everyone all sinners.
The episode is also a bit personal as there are tons that sacrifice daily with great determination unaware of their true fate because of their faith and the goals that motivate them.

GOD, thank you for all, thank you for sacrificing your son to give us a home to return to after leaving the struggles of earth. My opinion is that you reflect on the week that Christ (Holy Week) knowingly prophesized, saved the sick, resurrected the dead, and still gave his life to those that believed and the non-believers. The story of Jesus as so many stories in the bible shows us exactly why it says to treat others the way you want to be treated (Matthew 7:12) and it also shows you just how cold the human soul can go. How his death began with human persecution for being different than what was already in place.

I will also give a reference to George Floyd and the Derek Chauvin case (9:29), as how can I not when you see similar examples of how Christ our Redeemer was treated every day.

Prayers are still requested for my son, my mother, and me as we continue to heal, thank you all.

Which songs did you choose and Why?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyzYIha2KNU - Reason I Live by Big Dismal  - Exactly what the title says my motivation is my son and heaven.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMsvwwp6S7Q - Count On Me by Bruno Mars - My son is singing this and it warms my heart. Won't be in the audio but consider Jesus your best friend and it is in Ep. 39.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPBvq7yewIk - Down Below by Roddy Rich - I'm not rich but it is almost a "you can do it"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Quuz61gSP-w - How Many Lashes by Kirk Franklin & Yolanda Adams - Great questions and reflections

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auSAVJNlb80 - The Passion by Lauryn Hill - I love her and yes Love for another human being should have been enough.

Please specify the lyrics that motivated you:

Down Below: All of them.

How Many Lashes: All of them.

Count On Me: All of them.

The Passion: All of them.

Reason I Live: All of them.
