Pearl Riter and Shell Riter were in 5th and 8th grade when the book was published in Jan 2024 and have burst on the literary scene with their debut novel, “Kingdoms in the Shadows: A Tale of Mystery, War, and Betrayal.” Their aim is to kindle the imaginations of readers by weaving tales for kids, by kids. When they’re not writing stories and poetry, you can find them playing the piano, watercolor painting, and solving puzzles, especially sudokus.
