Never Regret Anything That Made You Smile: Mark Twain, Wit, Wisdom & Being Human (120.02.005)
Never Regret Anything That Made You Smile: Mark Twain, Wit, Wisdom & Being Human

🎙️ What if one of the best New Year resolutions isn’t about fixing yourself… but about remembering what made you smile?

In this episode of Spill the Tea with D & E, we sip tea with the spirit of Mark Twain and unpack why his humor still matters more than ever. From who he really was beyond the quotes, to why his writing shaped American culture, to lesser-known works that reveal his deeper wisdom, this conversation is light, funny, and sneakily profound.

We explore the famous line “Never regret anything that made you smile” not as a throwaway quote, but as a life philosophy rooted in shared humanity, humility, and grace. Along the way, we trace everyday sayings that came from Twain, laugh at our collective nonsense, and offer a gentler way to ring in the New Year.

No hustle. No perfection. Just good habits built from humor, honesty, and being human together.

☕ Primary Bucket: Optimism, Meaning & Making Life Softer ☕ Secondary: Mindfulness for Real Life (Not Perfect People)

📲 What if joy counts as wisdom? ☕✨ This week on Spill the Tea with D & E, we ring in the New Year with Mark Twain, laughter as medicine, and a reminder we all need:

👉 Never regret anything that made you smile.

Funny stories, surprising history, quotes you use every day (and didn’t know came from Twain), and a softer way to step into the year ahead. No fixing required. Just humanity.
Pour the tea. Take a breath. Laugh a little more this year. 🤍

🔖 #SpillTheTeaPodcast, #MarkTwainWisdom, #OptimismAndMeaning, #MakingLifeSofter, #MindfulnessForRealLife, #HumorAsHealing, #JoyIsWisdom, #NewYearPerspective, #SharedHumanity, #LifeQuotesThatMatter, #PresenceOverPerfection, #GentleLiving, #LaughMoreLiveMore, #WisdomWithWit, #AmericanLiterature, #HumanBeingHuman, #SoulfulConversations, #PodcastLife, #WomenPodcasters, #WellnessPodcast, #SpiritualityWithoutReligion, #SelfGrowthJourney, #FindingMeaning, #KindnessMatters, #SlowDownAndSmile, #RealLifeMindfulness, #TeaTalks, #NewYearReflection, #SantaBarbaraPodcasts, #FeelGoodPodcast

Dominique: This podcast is done by us as volunteers, and all monies earned go to Santa Barbara Wellness Center, Inc.
