The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a tremendous amount of importance to the health of our hearts. Shaykh Faraz Rabbani continues reading and explaining Taj Al- Arus ( The Refinement of Souls) by Imam Ibn ‘Ata Illah al-Sakandari.
In this podcast, Shaykh Faraz Rabbani describes how all goodness is in following the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Having renunciation is not to attach oneself to created things. Doing with less of the worldly matters.
Shaykh Faraz goes on to explain that the scholars mentioned there are roughly three things that keep one from the straight path. Wrongdoing, sin, and heedlessness.
He ends by counseling the believers in continuing to return to Allah in repentance.
