#102 Kim Verhaeghen: 'Taking a sabbatical as CEO was my rescue!'
#102 Kim Verhaeghen. What does a sabbatical do with a CEO of an international company with 360 employees? How can you avoid becoming a toxic leader? How can meditation and yoga help your personal growth and assure the growth of a company? Kim co-founded Springbok in 2014 and was the CEO for 10 years. Springbok is an international digital & creative agency for positive growth where Kim is now the Executive Chairman of the Board. Kim is also the owner of a lovely yoga Studio in Antwerp. 'I was one of the CEO's and I wanted to go on a sabbatical. There were a lot of uncertainties and it was a difficult decision. Then I was asked: What is it you really long for? I wanted to travel again, feel the freedom of life. So the decision was made!' initially the purpose of Springbok was not very clear in the beginning. They wanted to contribute more to society in a unique and positive way. So Springbok has evolved into a mission and purpose oriented organisation. 'Intensive meditation and yoga made me discover who I really am. An entrepreneur, it took me more then 10 years before I decided to start my first businness.' Kim shares his insights and experiences how it is to start a new business, grow as a person and a company of 360 people. Enjoy the beautiful wise words of Kim!
