As the guitarist, lead vocalist and lyricist for indie-rock band Speedy Ortiz, Sadie Dupuis carves out new, refreshing narratives for women as the leading ladies in their own lives. It’s something she has extended to her solo venture, Sad13, tapping into her talents as both a producer and multi-instrumentalist with the release of her 2016 record, Slugger, and her upcoming album due out later this year.
