Today we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. This feast recalls how Saint Helena, the mother of Constantine, discovered the true cross of Christ, and how, through history, Christians continued to venerate it even through wars and losses. What was once an instrument of shame and death has been transformed into a sign of victory, life, and salvation.

The Cross teaches us that God can transform even the darkest instrument into a channel of grace. The question for us is how do we use the instruments entrusted to us - our words, actions, even social media? Do they bring life, or do they bring harm?
