Chad

We are two local Hawaii boys that randomly met in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan! We always talked about starting a podcast about living in Japan and finally decided to give it a shot. We will be talking about life, culture, food, experiences, opinions, pros, cons, recommendations, etc. We hope that we can dabble into everything and give a unique perspective from local boy eyes. We are also new and don't know much about starting a podcast, so it will be a journey for us. Hope we stick with it and hope some of you join us for the ride!

Sup-Sapporo: Dosanko Life - Amos Barnett (Currawong's Headphone & Earphone Review)
In this episode (Ep. 15) - Amos Barnett (Currawong's Headphone & Earphone Review), we talk about how Amos Ended up in Japan and a little bit about his background. We talk about typhoons and other natural disasters that frequently happen in Japan and our experiences with them. Amos then shares with us some of his audio gear and talks us through some of the earphones and headsets that he has. He shows us some high end portable players and explains to us how it drastically improves sound quality. He also talks about 3D audio and how wearing a great pair of earphones can make it seem like you're actually in the room listening to a live concert. Furthermore, he gets into the practicality of cheap and expensive headphones/earphones and situations of when one would prefer cheap to expensive and vice versa. Chad gets super drunk rambles and possibly annoys Jamie. Amos talks about how he got his Channel name and how he sometimes gets mistaken for Chinese. He talks about his YouTube channel, how he started, meeting famous YouTubers, going to Conventions and more!! He shows us some tubes that he has lying around his house and explains how they affect the sound. Chad goes further down the rabbit hole and ramblecasts and we work our way back to talking about typhoons and preparing for typhoons as it really starts to approach Kyushu. Lastly as we quickly try to wrap things up and end the podcast; Amos gets into some deep stuff about life, Chad is blasted drunk and Jamie has to lay the STFU to get Chad back in line and steer us back on course so that we can cross the finish line.
