Welcome to Sur Sadhana with Gandhaar Madhyam. In this episode, we introduce to you — Raag Desh. Often referred to as Raag Des, this raag is a very beautiful and romantic raag that is sung in the night-time. Raag Desh uses all seven notes and is a delightfully popular raag. We begin by the Desh Gaan 'Vande Mataram', followed by the raag parichay and a bandish recital. Post that comes our rendition of a well-known ghazal.
