Budget betrayal, BBC bias and Chagos chaos!
Rachel Reeves under fire! International Editor Isabel Oakeshott says the Chancellor’s pre-Budget speech was “extraordinary” and effectively confirmed tax rises are coming, despite Labour’s manifesto pledges. Oakeshott questions whether Reeves “looked haggard, anxious and out of her depth” as the economy worsens and Labour “fails to face down vested interests.”
BBC credibility crisis: Cardwell and Oakeshott expose the Trump editing scandal and fresh claims of BBC bias from journalist Stephen Pollard, who brands the corporation’s disinformation campaign “a parody” amid revelations of a Panorama cut-and-paste Trump speech and anti-Israel leanings inside BBC Arabic. Pollard says the BBC’s leadership “ignored its own standards adviser” and warns trust in the broadcaster is “collapsing.”
