People who escaped from PRISON! #EVERGREEN
Prisons in various forms have been a part of society since before history. And since people that go to prison tend to not want to be there, inevitably there will be people who try to escape from prison. So that's what this #EVERGREEN episode is about! Episode notes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prison_escapes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libby_Prison_escape https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hunt_Morgan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Kropotkin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_of_Tchaikovsky https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narodniks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligentsia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-communism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_the_Kid Anarcho-communism, also known as anarchist communism, is a political philosophy and anarchist school of thought which advocates the abolition of the state, capitalism, wage labour, social hierarchies and private property. It retains respect for personal property along with collectively-owned items, goods and services. It supports common ownership of the means of production and direct democracy as well as a horizontal network of workers' councils with production and consumption based on the guiding principle "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". Some forms of anarcho-communism such as insurrectionary anarchism are strongly influenced by egoism and radical individualism, believing anarcho-communism to be the best social system for the realization of individual freedom. Most anarcho-communists view anarcho-communism as a way of reconciling the opposition between the individual and society. The Circle of Tchaikovsky was a Russian literary society for self-education and a revolutionary organization of the Narodniks in the early 1870s. It was named after Nikolai Tchaikovsky, one of its prominent members. The Narodniks were a politically conscious movement of the Russian intelligentsia (a status class comprised of scholars, academics, teachers, journalists, and literary writers) in the 1860s and 1870s, some of whom became involved in revolutionary agitation against tsarism. Their ideology, known as Narodism or Narodnichestvo, was a form of agrarian socialism though is often mistranslated as populism or peopleism. The Narod campaigns were the central impetus of the Narodnik movement. The Narodniks were in many ways the intellectual and political forebears and, in notable cases, direct participants of the Russian Revolution—in particular of the Socialist-Revolutionary Party, which went on to greatly influence Russian history in the early 20th century. Human geography or anthropogeography is the branch of geography that is associated and deals with humans and their relationships with communities, cultures, economies, and interactions with the environment by studying their relations with and across locations. It analyzes patterns of human social interaction, their interactions with the environment, and their spatial interdependencies by application of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
