In Episode 5 of Taste and See, Eleanor shares a deeply honest journey of moving from routine religion to real relationship, and learning to trust God when life felt uncertain.
Raised Catholic, faith once felt like repetition — until high school, when serving revealed that God wasn’t distant or abstract, but personal. Even then, Eleanor’s journey had seasons of being on track and off track, until an encounter led her to fully surrender and stay the course with God.
When her family faced the possibility of losing their home, fear and uncertainty set in. Offered another place to stay, Eleanor sensed deep unease and chose instead to turn to God for clarity. Through prayer, discernment, and confirming dreams, God led her step by step. Though her family eventually lost their home, God provided another — and opened doors in her work and life.
This season taught Eleanor a powerful truth: God being with her is enough.
