In this episode, Pastor Ted teaches that believers are called to “conquer in a crooked culture,” not live passively or accept defeat just because the world is dark. Using Jesus’ command to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16), he explains that Christians remain sheep among wolves, walking in integrity yet operating with sharp, assertive wisdom and spiritual discernment so their lives don’t look identical to unbelievers in areas like health, joy, relationships, and provision. He warns that leaving “the way of good sense” and God’s wisdom (Proverbs 14:12; 21:16) causes even saved people to live like the spiritually dead, because God’s people are destroyed not by the devil first, but by a lack of knowledge and truth. Ted then exposes “counterfeit wisdom”: human logic and emotion-driven decisions (like spending, dating, or finances guided by feelings or cultural norms) and demonic manipulation, contrasted with heaven-sent wisdom that often contradicts common sense but leads to freedom, blessing, and God’s best.
