Lunghnasda - Celtic Wheel of the year

Lughnasadh – The First Harvest & Honouring the Sacred Shift

In this episode, we step into the energy of Lughnasadh, the first of the harvest festivals on the Wheel of the Year. I reflect on the sacred lessons this sabbat offers—letting go, surrendering control, honouring the unseen work, and embracing the in-between.

Lughnasadh invites us to slow down and recognise what has been quietly growing within us, even if the outer harvest hasn’t fully arrived. Together, we honour the shifts in season and spirit, the endings disguised as pauses, and the deep medicine of not forcing the bloom.

This is a gentle offering for those who feel caught between grief and growth, between the seed and the fruit. May it hold space for your process and remind you: rest is part of the harvest too.
