Alias is identified as a word that is used to indicate that a named person is also known or more familiar under another specified name. In music, aliases can be used for a multitude of reasons include: signifying eras of an artist, creating a new identity of an artist or to develop/experiment with a new genre to their audience. Kendrick, Kanye, J. Cole and Pusha T are some of many artists that have aliases that they are commonly known as.
