When 9-year-old Lisa Ann French’s best friend was grounded at the last minute, Lisa was left trick-or-treating on her own on October 31, 1973. After her curfew came and went, the search for the missing girl ended days later with the discovery of her naked body, whereas the fight to keep the man responsible off the streets spanned decades.
