The vast majority of professing Christians don’t have a clue about the true nature and essence of grace, though most use the word. They usually treat it as a concept of one’s reasonable imagination; a fairytale nice to believe; an established theory or doctrine, without conditions, without resultant life changes; or most often, unmerited favor of God that comes regardless of their spiritual state, lifestyle and attitude, except to profess faith in Christ. Many see it as freedom from the Law of God; they mistake iniquity (lawlessness) for grace.
