We have a special live episode of the 029 Podcast with artist/designer Justin Errami-Moy @jmoy_____ that was broadcast on @good_times_bad_times
Justin Errami-Moy is a spatial designer and sound artist based in the Netherlands. He has an academic background in architecture which influences his thinking in both his spatial and sonic works. Under his musical alias ‘jmoy’ he works on musical projects in which he seeks to tell spatial narratives through sound---closely relating spatial design and sonic composition.
In his work, Justin is interested in the relation between dualisms: self/other, inside/outside, rational/intuitive, subject/object, nature/culture etc. Instead of seeing contradictions, he questions how these relate to each other---what happens within the ‘/’? By blurring these boundaries he aims to make the viewer/listener more aware of their interconnectedness with their environment.
