In this chapter of Ellen G. Whites book "Patriarchs & Prophets" we read about Lucifer's path to rebellion and his eventual fall, which led to the fall of Creation. We read that God being righteous, just, and loving allowed Lucifer to rebel. He did this to allow Lucifer to try and implement his plan, in which when his plan failed all would see the glory of God's divine government and law.
