SONG OF PEACE
I’ve heard of the wars of evil
I’ve seen the ravagesof man I’ve read of the primeval
I have followed the Ten Command
I have marched to the music of othersI
have saluted our flag’s flare
I’ve respected my brothers
I have bowed my head in prayer
Ihave shed a tear for all who decease
I have thanked God that love was there
And now I write a song of peace
To veterans a call a voice to care
Singing we shall overcome
Under one sun
One flag OneGod
Wars be done
That we can only live as one
If we can touch each other’s hand
Reach out touch the tips that heals
For it is the brotherhood to band
Around beliefs and ideals
By touching each other and being one
We are united together we stand
We are the same under the sun
We live in freedom of this land
We worship the same God
We love for the same reasons
We cultivate the same sod
We live through the same seasons
And having read the poet’s lines
We are the same in the Maker’s eyes
Yes, I’ve seen the signs
As all come upon the earth with the same mirth
About our energy source and how we must not cease
And we must live together in happiness
Imploring the credence of my song of peace
And attempting to climb out of the abyss
To have lived in God’s eyes at all
Then and only then will the family of man
Standing for peace or together we fall
Be at Peace and make a stand
Against wars
Against power and closed doors
Against unfettered Government
Against control of resources and where they went
Against the song for war that promotes decent
For in peace, we stand In the grace of what’s right
Sharing the prosperity from the land
With no guns to fight
Singing we shall overcome
Under one sun
One flag One God
For we can only live as one
Wars be done
Peace has won
A Song of Peace
Throughout history, humanity has witnessed countless warsand the devastation they bring. The struggles and ravages caused by mankind echo through time, serving as a somber reminder of our past. Guided by ancient wisdom and moral principles such as the Ten Commandments, we strive to build a better future.
I have marched to the rhythm of others, proudly saluting ournation’s flag and honoring my fellow citizens. In moments of reflection, I bow my head in prayer, showing respect for those who have gone before us and shedding tears for those lost.
Grateful for the presence of love, I now raise my voice in a song of peace—a call to care for our veterans and a plea forcompassion.
With the refrain “We shall overcome,” I envision a worldunited under one sun, one flag, and one God. The aspiration is clear: let wars end so that we may live as one. True unity is possible only when we reach out to each other, extend healing hands, and band together in the spirit ofbrotherhood, grounded in shared beliefs and ideals.
By embracing each other and standing as one, we form aunited front. Beneath the same sun, we share freedom and worship the same God. Our love springs from common reasons, and we tend the same land through changing seasons.
Our energy and resolve must never falter; together, we mustchoose happiness and heed the message of peace. Escaping the depths of division, we seek to live in accordance with divine guidance. Only through unity will the family of mankind stand strong, championing peace for all.
Now is the time to stand against war, unchecked power, secrecy, and the excessive control of resources. We must reject the call to conflict and instead promote decency and grace. In the pursuit of peace, we share the prosperity of our land without resorting to violence, ensuring that the values of justice and right prevail.
Let us sing together: “We shall overcome.” Under one sun,one flag, and one God, we affirm that living as one is our highest calling. May wars cease and peace prevail, for when peace has won, humanity truly thrives.
