They use powerful narratives to frame themselves as saviors, simplify complex realities, and rally people around fear or pride. But stories can also strengthen democracy. In this episode of the Anti-Authoritarian Toolkit Podcast, we explore how democracy defenders can reclaim the narrative and tell stories that inspire action, belonging, and hope. Arun Chaudhary is a filmmaker, storyteller, and political strategist who has redefined how campaigns and movements connect with people through narrative and visuals. He was the official White House videographer during President Barack Obama’s administration. He was also the Creative Director for Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.
