One of my favorite musicians Matt Sucich enters the Anxiety Lab! Matt is an NYC-based singer-songwriter who has played all kinds of places including Bonnaroo, Willie Nelson’s Heartbreaker Banquet, Firefly, and Newport Folk Fest. One review said his latest album, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself, "feels like a good, honest talk with a close friend after a tough year."
Matt was awesome and got incredibly vulnerable. We discuss intentional slowing down vs. laziness, healthy/unhealthy daydreaming and rockstar fantasies, expectations, being hard on yourself, embracing mistakes, how he defines connecting to an audience, and plenty more.
Check out MattSucich.com and esmatteo (IG) to keep up tour dates, etc., and his songs are available on all platforms.
