Peter Sis is a reknowned award-winning artist, tapestry maker and children's book author & illustrator. A long-time collaborator with Art for Human Rights, he was born in Brno, Czechoslovakia and emigrated to the USA in the 1980s, where he worked with the New York Times as a featured illustrator for 17 years, publishing many books and celebrated pieces of art as well.
