Boston-based, independent pop singer/songwriter, Kayla Mercuri, embarked on her music career in 2014, when she traveled to Los Angeles to record three of her original songs, each debuting on a Boston-area college radio station. In 2015, she released her debut EP Notions, and the EP’s lead single “Trusted” earned Kayla recognition as a top-10 finalist for the 2016 New England Music Radar Award. Kayla has notably performed at the Boston Hard Rock Cafè, the Boston Hubbub Fest, the St. Agrippina festival, and Chick Singer Night, the world’s longest running songfest for female artists.

Since the start of her career, Kayla has shown no signs of slowing down, and has spent time carefully crafting and honing her oh-so-cool sound and furthering her songwriting expertise. Her highly anticipated second EP, No Turning Back, delivers four dynamic songs, each showcasing her confidence and depth as a musician. In a saturated world of pop music, Kayla’s fresh take on today’s sound, paired with her meaningful, relatable lyrics and effortless vocals, positions her as a force to be reckoned with and to have a major breakout year.
