The Athletes' Marathon podcast focuses on the journey that former Athletes, Entrepreneurs, Personal Trainers, and Coaches have gone through as they transition into their careers from their previous sport. Many former athletes understand the feeling of being "lost" or "confused" about what they want to pursue after they hang up their cleats. We discuss the journey through the ups and downs for each guest and how they used their experience, mindset, and work ethic to get them where they are today.

Finding Self Awareness through Personal Failures with Jay Simms

In this episode I interviewed a student athlete from Gannon University that dealt with some off the field issues while playing football at Towson that forced him to transfer out. This guest is a great example of doubling down on your weaknesses and holding yourself accountable for your personal mistakes and failures. He has changed his relationship with failure as he looks at those opportunities as areas for himself to grow.
