Before Canton, Tyler spent four years at the University of Akron as an Assistant Coach, was a member of the Cavs summer league coaching staff in 2019, and and was a member of the USA Basketball World Cup Team support staff in 2018 and 2019. Tyler was also Evan's high school teammate and, for a time, college roommate.
