The bard crew leaps into the future with the show's first sci-fi story. After a tragic accident alters the entire course of Jessica's life, she tries to navigate the world in her new "normal" which includes several cybernetic medical devices that keep her alive. Amid political unrest and fears of a robotic uprising, Jessica has to face the reality that she is no longer welcome in society. How will she survive when she is neither robot nor human? What happens in an ever-restricted world when a lone teenager is only 40% normal?
The Bard Room is a literary commentary and comedy podcast. Each week the bards gather to hear an original, unpublished and sometimes unfinished stories from amateur writers. The show is meant to be a celebration of amateur writing with all its quirks, highs, and lows. Simply put, we love reading and some of us even love writing. Writers, readers, nerds, and everyone in between are always welcome. Story quality is not guaranteed.
