007: Everything You Do Affects Your Family – Tales from a Military Dad | with Edward Saylors
My guest today is Edward Saylors an ex-military Dad of 4. On the show we dive into the world I think most Dads can relate to – doing everything you can to provide for your family. While working 12-14 hours a day Edward had very little time or energy to put into his health. As a result his weight ballooned up over 300 pounds. During Edwards time in the military he constantly struggled with meeting the weight standard requirement which led to him basically starve himself every 6 months to make weight. Finally after 17 years he left the military but found it very challenging to find a civilian job which could use his skillset. During this time his weight troubles continued. Until one day he got out of bed, sick of feeling terrible, and said NO MORE. Take a listen to Edward’s story, I think you will find it very relatable and inspirational. Enjoy!
