BPQ 050: Christopher Webber & Global Freight Consulting
One of the wonderful byproducts of running an investment research business is that it has attracted some of the most diverse and sharpest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
One of those gents is Chris Weber, who is the Managing Director of Global Freight Consulting. Chris has traded multiple commodities in the dry bulk space and has grown and developed both physical as well as financial trading platforms for several startups in the industry after beginning his career at Louis Dreyfus Commodities. He has held leading managerial and trading roles in the space while living and working in Asia, Africa, and Europe before recently returning to the USA.
Having travelled for business as well as pleasure to over 100 countries he has a diverse group of global contacts and a passion for experiencing different cultures and economics. He has been a great source of information for me when looking at the shipping industry.
I hope you enjoy our discussion.
