SHORT: It's hard to believe there was such a long period of time we thought #HaileeSteinfeld would and then wouldn't be #KateBishop on the #Hawkeye series with #JeremyRenner — luckily in terrible 2020 it actually happened and we finally got our girl — also, three seasons of the AMAZING #Dickinson so all praise the Empress Hailee Steinfeld! LONG: It’s crazy to think this classic Bizzle rant ft. the great Simi Climo was waaay back in **AUGUST of 2019** when we first thought Hailee Steinfeld was *CONFIRMED* to be Kate Bishop. While we were forced to suffer for almost a year and a half before getting our first photos of Hailee filming with Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye in NYC (and she does indeed look SPECTACULAR in the Purple & Black!!!) we finally got her where she belongs — as a major Avenger for the near future and, in this Bizzle’s opinion, the future leader of the Avengers taking over from Captain America (more on that in an upcoming podcast with Jason Ritter about Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda aka the Scarlett Witch). But this podcast is mainly a rant about DC Comics and WB about losing out on Haiz big-time as Batgirl (or literally anything), missing out once again on a major young talent who was unsigned to a massive property at the time — and losing to Marvel Studios AGAIN.
