On this episode of the BLX we discuss Love over War. Love usually will win out. Sometimes it can be difficult to love those who are not ready to receive it. You want to be there for them, but circumstances that are out of your control can make this experience turbulent. Sometimes we find ourselves having to take a step back and that’s OK. Love looks different for everyone. Some of us will grow frustrated with trying to love someone who is not quite available to receive love. As a result, conversations can become heated and insults can be thrown and so we must be mindful of what we are trying to accomplish. War is not the answer, but is it necessary to get through to the other side? We understand it can be difficult to take the highroad, especially when others are hitting below the belt. This is where self-control comes into play in a major way. Though we choose love over war, we also understand that it may get worse before it gets better.
