
Dr. Yolandra “Yola” Hancock is a mom, physician, TED speaker, and public health shero who combines her hands-on clinical experience and public health expertise with her passion for building vibrant communities to provide patient-empowered “best in class” care and community empowerment. Dr. Yola holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, a doctorate from the UCLA School of Medicine, and a Master’s degree of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She teaches at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University, is the founder of Delta Health and Wellness Consulting, and works with various organizations and government agencies in the health policy space to affect large scale change to address health inequities.
