I started as a 3D artist at age 13, when I found the software called Blender. I kept at it for years, slowly becoming a self-taught artist. At around age 16, I became obsessed with electronic music and soon experimental obscure sub-genres. I initially used LMMS and now Bitwig. Later in 2020, I got hooked on NFTs. My love for entrepreneurship, coding and math helped me glue all my passions into one singular identity - Blue Inversion. It has always been a personal struggle for me to fit into a well defined box. So I stopped trying to. The podcast is a public journal to record my evolution.

[ARCHIVED] How to stay inspired to make art?

On this second episode, I touch on the topic of inspiration and motivation. I thought it would be the perfect time to remind myself of these concepts, so that I do not fall into the trap of skipping a day. I hope you find some value out of it.

Artwork for this episode : ” do not wake him up ” | Personal Work

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS:

  1. Reflecting on the first episode.
  2. Issues with relying solely on inspiration.
  3. My fundamental motive behind the "everydays"
  4. How I prepared a setup to stay inspired.
  5. Apps and some techniques I use to capture ideas.

NOTES:

We talk about Instagram, ArtStation, Tumblr and Pinterest. You most probably heard of them. But I am still linking them to their websites, just in case.

Trello and Evernote for taking down text notes.

PureRef free reference management software.

Thanks for listening!
