Sammy’s hour was joined by Meera Sharma with the Mindful Minute, and Katie Dartford from the United Nations News Department. Sammy is joined by the Non Profit organization called Shanti Bhavan as they are our choice for Giving Tuesday on The Bridge. Sammy is joined by Prabhleen aka Jugni, the host of the new show The Jugni Podcast which takes the airwaves on Rukus Avenue Radio in January. Sammy talks to Jay and Sarah, the hosts of Cultural Contours, about the tradition of touching feet in Indian culture. Sammy talks to Ruby about the Emmy’s and how Diljit almost won for the film Chamkila. Dr Roy tells us that India shines at the International Emmy’s Red Carpet, Mumbai celebrates the release of Avatar, Fire, and Ash, and Bengaluru’s Jotsna Venkatesh Naidu wins gold at the ICN World Natural Games. Karan fills us in that India’s economy grew 8.2% last quarter, making it the fastest growing major economy, driven by domestic spending, tech exports, and infrastructure investment. Meanwhile, Southeast Asia faces devastating floods, displacing millions and highlighting the urgent need for climate resilience.
