Sammy talks to Jay and Sarah, the hosts of Cultural Contours, about the tradition of touching feet in Indian culture. Sammy talks to Ruby about the Emmy’s and how Diljit almost won for the film Chamkila. Dr Roy tells us that India shines at the International Emmy’s Red Carpet, Mumbai celebrates the release of Avatar, Fire, and Ash, and Bengaluru’s Jotsna Venkatesh Naidu wins gold at the ICN World Natural Games. Karan fills us in that India’s economy grew 8.2% last quarter, making it the fastest growing major economy, driven by domestic spending, tech exports, and infrastructure investment. Meanwhile, Southeast Asia faces devastating floods, displacing millions and highlighting the urgent need for climate resilience.
