It's been almost four months since I recorded an episode of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace Podcast. I can't think of a better way to end the hiatus with these two gentlemen. Howie Abrams and Pete Koller, ladies and gentlemen. We set this up in order to discuss the "For the Love of Lou: The Brooklyn Way" benefit show that Howie and I put together, along with any updates on our friend Lou Koller, and the Heavy Healing Film . We discuss all of that, as well as what's been going on with the guys in Sick Of It All since we all got the horrible news about Lou's cancer.
The show is on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn. Online tickets sold out in 54 minutes, but there will be fifty tickets (no more, no less) available at the door. First come, first serve.
Please consider donating to one of the two official sites for Lou Koller and his fight against cancer.

My guest is a man I've known now for close to a decade. I'm surprised he hasn't been on earlier. He's played in Leeway NYC/The Eddie Leeway Show, Hard Response, The Casting Out, Comin' Correct and besides being a solo artist and collaborating with Keith Caputo, he has a new band called Ritualized.
We are all over the place in this rather long episode. From hardcore to road trips to movies and guilty pleasure songs, we run through a lot! Sit back and enjoy. This was a lot of fun to do. Respect.
