In this episode, we share how childhood experiences prompted our conscious “buy-in” to being environmentally aware. As adults, we are focused on family consumership- creating mindfulness at home with how our family produces waste and ways we can model positive behaviors to our children. We also question which habits contribute to excessive waste as well as how we maintain the function of our modern life while being mindful of which brands we engage with? Holding businesses and manufacturers responsible for using packaging and engaging in practices that are environmentally irresponsible, particularly when it comes to cosmetics and beauty companies. Throughout the episode, we drop tips on repurposing, small ways you can care for your neighborhood, how to think differently about the products you’re using, and influence change with your dollars.
