Bill Gerrard has been involved in sports analytics for about as long as I have been alive and so it was a real pleasure to welcome him onto the channel for a chat.
Originally from an economics background, Bill has gone on to be a teaching professor and spend time working in elite football and rugby. He even tells the story of how he was first introduced to the story of Moneyball, and then went on to eventually work with Billy Beane!
