Brett and I chat about what pursuing his craft as an independent Christian artist looks like, as well as how his art and music are breaking the stereotypes of what a Christian artist can create. Bretts music style leans towards hip-hop, rap and the “weirder” side of things, so we talk about what individuality looks like in the body of Christ, and what it looks like to have our own identity while following Jesus. Brett also shares with us his salvation experience, how the loss of his father at a young age influenced his adulthood, and the struggle with feeling like you’re pursuing your passion, but have yet to have that breakthrough moment.
